How can you stand out in the job market among other university graduates and advance to a better position with a higher salary?
“Many of our students say they have a good job and an interesting position, but they want to continue growing professionally. Achieving higher pay and a better position is possible through professional education,” says Mgr. Štěpán Mika, Director of the Central European Management Institute (CEMI). Many simply want to distinguish themselves from the crowd of other university graduates. The MBA degree is increasingly becoming a major competitive advantage.
According to a study on the benefits of MBA programs conducted by the CEMI Institute, after completing the online MBA program, 92% of graduates advanced by one or more positions within their company, 42% gained a competitive advantage in the job market, 75% increased their financial compensation by up to thirty percent, and 40% acquired new professional and personal contacts that helped them in their further career growth.
“Our graduates enhance their qualifications and management skills through online MBA programs. Today, the situation is such that if two candidates apply for the same position, and one has an MBA while the other does not, this professional degree can play a decisive role in the employer’s choice,” adds Mgr. Štěpán Mika.
Online MBA saves your time
Balancing work and study can sometimes feel impossible—and let’s be honest—not all employers are enthusiastic about frequent absences for study.
“Today, various MBA and LLM programs can be studied online. You can adapt your studies to your schedule, whether in the evening after work or in the morning before work. You don’t need to attend classes at specific times, which gives you great freedom and allows you to combine learning with work and family life,” says Mgr. Štěpán Mika.
Recognized tutors, programs in Czech and English
Even though the teaching is online, students are not completely disconnected from interaction with peers. At the introductory session, students meet CEMI tutors in person, and during the program, they can contact them via Skype, email, or phone. All study-related matters can also be consulted with the student office.
Currently, CEMI employs 49 tutors from the Czech Republic and abroad. Among the tutors and program coordinators for MBA and LLM programs are prominent experts from various fields.
Benefits of online MBA studies:

“Students know in advance what they will learn, and syllabi are available on the website. They know who the tutors are and how the program runs. Interested candidates can also visit in person to see that this is not just a virtual institution. Through meetings with a study consultant or the institute’s director, they can clarify any questions or uncertainties.”
